ClubsACT is pleased to invite you to the upcoming Micro–Conference addressing one of the most significant and rapidly evolving issues facing community clubs in the ACT:
Reforms and Opportunities in Planning, Development, Zoning and Housing in the ACT
This forum will provide member clubs with critical insights into current and proposed reforms that have direct implications for club operations, asset strategy and long-term planning. As planning frameworks, zoning regulations and housing policy continue to evolve, it is essential for clubs to understand both the potential impacts and the strategic opportunities these changes may present.
MLA Chris Steel MLA, Minister for Transport, Planning and Sustainable Development, will engage directly with the club industry to discuss key reforms and priorities, and to provide firsthand perspectives on policy direction and implementation.
Adrian Makeham-Kirchner – Director Strategy and Analytics at Urban Intelligence will discuss “Viability in the missing middle era”
Andrew Neagle – Strategic Development Lead – Hospitality at Paynter Dixon will give an insight into project pitfalls, and issues and how to overcome them.
The event will also offer a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow CEOs, senior staff, corporate partners and government representatives, fostering collaboration, shared understanding and informed decision-making across the sector.
